We are pleased to announce this year's Honorary Chair for the 2024 Welcome Home Gala, Terra Lawson-Remer.
Since joining the Board of Supervisors in 2021, she has worked on community programs and policies that focus on social support systems and uplifting marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ San Diegans.
Her influence has created mass impacts on many local areas including homelessness, mental health, housing costs, worker and environmental justice, uplifting immigrants, and much more.
We are grateful to be able to work with her and her team, and we wish to celebrate what has been accomplished.

Meet our 2024 Gala Chair, RaeLynn Fuson (she/her), a seasoned nonprofit professional committed to social justice and community empowerment. Born and raised in San Diego, RaeLynn is thrilled to work with the vibrant and beautiful community that makes her home home.
With a proven track record of orchestrating successful events, RaeLynn has had a hand in raising over $1 million for various San Diego County nonprofit causes ranging from child abuse prevention, to foster care support, and more.
As Gala Chair for the North County LGBT+ Resource Center, RaeLynn is poised to leverage her expertise to support the organization's mission and cultivate community connections.
Guided by her belief in a world where everyone can live and thrive authentically and driven by her passion for advocacy and inclusivity, RaeLynn is determined to make a lasting impact for the North County LGBT+ community, inspiring others to join her in the pursuit of a more just and equitable society, one event at a time.
